 Billing and Payment Policies

At HealthTrainingByMJS we strive to offer the finest training when you need it at the lowest possible cost.  Our affiliation with multiple national credentialing organizations span the spectrum of educational courses to address the needs of the healthcare professional, daycare provider, factory/industrial first-aid responders and general public at large. 

When scheduling your selected course with HealthTrainingByMJS you will be asked to provide us with details regarding the number of participants.  This affords us the opportunity of determining the need for additional instructors and in having adequate training equipment for all participants.  Typically we will schedule one instructor for every ten participants (depending on the selected course).  We will also inquire as to whether the hosting facility or the participating individuals will be financially responsible for the course.  If the hosting facility bears financial responsibility certifying credentials for those successfully completing the course will be issued to the contact person at the facility for ultimate distribution to the individuals unless otherwise directed.  Hosting facilities may elect to submit payment to the instructor at the time of the course or elect to receive an electronic invoice.  Certification credentials will be forwarded to the facility upon payment.  We accept payment, whether by facility or individual, as cash, check (must clear before processing of credentials and is subject to a returned check fee of $50), and PayPal.  If invoiced, we request payment upon receipt but do provide a 30 day grace period.  Recognize that participant credentials will not be released until payment is received.

Certifying credentials are issued electronically.  This allows the recipient to maintain an electronic copy of their certification.  Should an individual loose or delete their credential and require it to be re-issued a replacement certification will be processed upon payment of $20.  Payment must be received PRIOR to release of the replacement.

We schedule our courses at times that are convenient to you and your staff and assess the needs for additional instructors based upon the class size and course content.  As such, should you find the need to cancel a scheduled class or have a change in the anticipated number of participants we require a minimum of 24 hour* notification.  Failure to provide such notification will result in the assessment of a No Show/No Cancellation charges as follow:

  • For scheduled classes of one to three people:  You will be billed the cost of one participant for the course that would have been provided.

  • For scheduled classes of between three and ten people: 25% of the cost that would have been charged for total number of participants.

  • For scheduled classes of eleven to twenty people: 10% of the cost of total number of participants PLUS an additional instructor fee of one hour.

  • For scheduled classes of twenty- one or more people: 5% of the cost of total number of participants plus an additional instructor fee of one hour PER INSTRUCTOR.

  • If a course of eleven or more participants is scheduled and additional instructor(s) arrive but less than 10 individuals actually participate in the class the additional instructor fees will still be assessed.

These charges will be submitted to the facility that was scheduled to host the class regardless of whether they were fiscally responsible or if participants were to provide individual payment.

*Twenty-four hour notification requirement is waived due to serious illness, fire, disaster, or civil emergency that would preclude participation.  It will be assessed however IF no attempt to notify our offices are made AND the Instructor arrives at the location scheduled for the course.

 

HealthTrainingByMJS has received outstanding reviews from it’s participants.  We appreciate the comments and the opportunity of establishing long-term relationships with our customers.  As such, customers who schedule multiple classes with us and who are financially current are eligible to receive our Preferred Customer Discount.  The discount is applied to the in-person instructional charge for most courses (unless otherwise noted) and will be applied when an individual or organization schedules two or more classes in a 12- month period.  Individual skill check offs are NOT eligible for this discount.
