Designed for individuals who have never had ACLS training or have allowed their ACLS certification to lapse for a period of one year or greater.  The course is delivered over a one and a half day time period with day 1 lasting approximately 3 hours.  Day 2 lasts approximately 6-7 hours dependent upon the number of participants. 

 

Pre-course preparation requires obtaining and reviewing the ACLS manual focusing on cardiac rhythm strips, pharmacologic agents used in algorithms, stroke and Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) care prior to attending the class.
