CPR
In this course you will learn how to perform CPR and use an AED. You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to help in an emergency situation. You will learn the steps to take in assessing an emergency situation- identifying the problem and initiating care and support until additional professional help is available. You will learn the correct way to administer CPR to adults, children and infants. Participants gain hands-on experience while learning the basis for each action taken.
Target Audience
This course is ideal for the non-healthcare professional who needs to have or wants to learn CPR: Family members of patients with cardiovascular health problems, factory workers, church members, and other members of the lay public.
Cost
$25 per person which includes instructor, course materials and upon satisfactory course completion a card issued by American Heart Saver Institute valid for 2 years.
